Dewey Readmore Books Part II

I wonder when I can get over this orange cat.

I don't think I would even after finished this book.

Even half way, I realised something.

"...Dewey's love is unconditional."

This cat loves every patron in the library and everyone who wants to come to pat him, or just to see him. One very good example is that a disabled girl actually could make a sound due to Dewey.

Why go so far, for Pouncer, as an example - he loves me whether or not I have makeups on, whether I had a bad hair day, whether i'm sick due to indigestion and vomitted 7 times at night, rich or poor, pet loves us in whatever forms we are.

But I really want to have a pet someday.

Does that mean I don't need love from a man?

Dewey Readmore Books

I'm still half-way reading and yet I'm practically, absolutely hooked and simply - this book is just unputdownable. Don't ask me why. The moment I walked into the bookstore. My hands immediately grab this book and then at no time, I was reading the synopsis over and over again. Until I told myself - 'Geez, you have to grab it N.O.W!!!'

I'm so so into this non-fiction lately. I don't want to finish this due to the fact I'm demanding to know more about this orange male feline. He's not only adorable but well, sounds like Pouncer, the orange feline I'm co-owning.

To those who know me, I extremely love cats. Probably it runs in my family. Cats, somehow will have a kind of special charisma towards people. The way they flop on the legs, the way they ask to be patted, love to give signal whenever they're hungry, love to walk beside you, wants to be a human's company, get restless very easily but then again always have their quiet time to be alone. And when they're alone - do not ever disturb their peace.

What Dewey and Pouncer having in common are: -

1.) Loves Fancy Feast & Purina Friskies - checked!
2.) Sleep near a machine that generates heat (for Dewey is the library's copier, while for Pouncer is the fridge) - checked!
3.) Hates construction, dog barking or any loud disturbing noises - checked!
4.) Love the sound of his food being zipped open or the shake of his food - checked!
5.) Dislikes plastic bags - checked!

The motto: I will always love cats!

P/S: I still owe 'someone' a movie review on Undercover. *wink*

Dear God by Avenged Sevenfold (2008)

Yesterday's insurance training was tired and yet fun. The speaker was undeniably insane. Guess only he can make Motor Insurance Underwriting so interesting. I went to Kinokuniya (walked from Concord Hotel) to collect my book - September of Shiraz by Dalia Sofer. I'll post a comment after reading the book; one day. Others I've found are - Prague by Arthur Phillips, The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson, A Message in the Bottle by Nicholas Sparks and Skylight Confession by Alice Hoffman.

Mother's Day is this Sunday. I've bought a card for my mom from kinokuniya - Hallmark brand. LOL.

Coincidently switched to MTV the other day and then fallen for this song instantly, like love at first sight. Just loving this song no matter how many time I'm listening to it. The original version is 6:34 mins, while the album version is 4:34 mins. It was taken from their self-titled album - Avenged Sevenfold

A lonely road, crossed another cold state line
Miles away from those I love purpose hard to find
While I recall all the words you spoke to me
Can't help but wish that I was there
Back where I'd love to be, oh yeah

Dear God the only thing I ask of you
is to hold her when I'm not around,
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
But I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
’Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again

There's nothing here for me on this barren road
There's no one here while the city sleeps
and all the shops are closed
Can't help but think of the times
I've had with you
Pictures and some memories will have to help me through,
oh yeah

Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around,
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
’Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again

Some search, never finding a way
Before long, they waste away
I found you, something told me to stay
I gave in, to selfish ways
And how I miss someone to hold
when hope begins to fade...

A lonely road, crossed another cold state line
Miles away from those I love purpose hard to find

Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around,
when I'm much too far away
We all need the person who can be true to you
I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
’Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again
